Final issue of Off the Record magazine

The final issue of Off the Record in magazine format is now available online at http://www.archives.org.uk/images/documents/SNfP/otr6.pdf

As well as news and updates on the work of the Section for New Professionals, we have articles from Anne Jensen, a new professional working in an archival role and Veronica Howe, a new professional starting out in Information Management. Our Q&A features Sarah Tyacke, Hillsborough Independent Panellist and former Chief Executive of the National Archives. We also have two articles on the challenges and use of new technologies being used in archives. Jane Stevenson introduces the Linking Lives project in progress at the Archives Hub, which is making use of linked data and Helen Hockx-Yu provides us with an introduction to the world of Web archiving, specifically archiving social media.

We hope you enjoy reading the magazine. Please do follow the blog if you’d like to continue reading Off the Record.
